  4. DESCRIPTION:

  6. CREATE A QUIZ is a simple yet comprehensive program
  7. that can be used to create and take multiple-choice and
  8. fill-in-the-blank quizzes.  This one program can be used
  9. by both the teacher and student.  Teachers can create on-
  10. screen quizzes that can be used by students, or create
  11. hardcopy quizzes if a printer is available.

  14. Special features:
  15.  
  16.      A) Pop-up menus, mouse support, full line text editing
  17. capabilities make using CREATE A QUIZ simple and fun.
  18.  
  19.      B) Both multiple-choice and fill-in-the blank
  20. questions can be used in the same quiz.
  21.  
  22.      C) Quizzes and/or questions can be printed out in
  23. several formats to meet the needs of both teacher and
  24. student.  The solutions to each question can be suppressed
  25. or displayed on a printout.  Students can receive an echo
  26. printout of each question they take on- screen.  Teachers
  27. can review their database of questions by printing out all
  28. the questions or by defining a range (from # to #) to
  29. print.

  31.      D) Several command line instructions allow the program
  32. to be "fine-tuned" by a teacher to meet the needs of a
  33. student.  These command line instructions can force a
  34. student to answer "x" number of questions before they are
  35. permitted to exit the program.  Or the teacher can set up a
  36. time limit for the student where after "x" number of
  37. minutes have elapsed the program will quit.

  39.      E) Progress charts are kept for each quiz that will
  40. record the best 10 students' quiz results.  This is an
  41. excellent way for a teacher to track the progress of a
  42. student.  A separate progress chart is maintained for each
  43. quiz created.
  44.  
  45.      F) Up to 9 students can participate in the same quiz
  46. at a time.  Great for contests!
  47.  
  48.      G) Display ASCII text files prior to each question.   A
  49. full screen display of a pre-defined ASCII text file can be
  50. displayed and scrolled prior to a question, and then after
  51. the user has read the text file, they will be confronted
  52. with a question dealing with that text.
  53.  
  54.      H) Businesses and organizations can use a command line
  55. instruction that will turn CREATE A QUIZ into a stand-alone
  56. display for customers or prospects.  This can make a great
  57. advertising tool and counter display, testing a prospect's
  58. knowledge of your product.  The program will even prompt
  59. each user for his name, address and phone number that can
  60. be retrieved later for follow- ups.

  62.      I) The quizzes that are created can be password
  63. protected and encrypted to prevent students from altering a
  64. teacher's questions.
